The Wyderka campground is located on the Lake Tomaszne, on the border of the municipality Uścimów and Sosnowica. It has an area of approx. 105H. It is situated in the north western part of Lake District Łęczyńsko – Włodawskie among forests, marshes, lakes and numerous ponds on the edge of the Landscape Park. Tomaszne Lake is a reservoir created on the basis of a natural lake. It is quite shallow (average approx. 3 metres). Through the reservoir flows the river Jedlanka, beside the river Bobryk forming the northern border of the campsite. The area around the lake is undeveloped. There are only private plots, marshes, meadows and cultivated fields. Nearby are large forest complexes. You can encounter many animal species including deer, elk, otters, muskrats, beavers and birds: harriers, black storks, hoopoes, and herons. The white stork, which often sets up nests near humans, has also set up numerous nests in these areas.
The campground is a great starting point for many bike paths that are in the area and to explore the region. The area has a number of fisheries and fish stocks to satisfy even the most demanding fishing enthusiast. For those who do not fish, we offer mushrooming in the surrounding forests rich in various species of fungi. This is a great place to relax and regenerate.
